I am absolutely delighted to be the Headteacher here at Selby Abbey Church of England Primary School. This is my second headship within North Yorkshire, and I am very proud to be part of such a warm and caring school community.

Selby Abbey School is a larger than average sized primary school, right in the heart of Selby.  We have a close affiliation with Selby Abbey itself and our Curriculum incorporates many events in the Abbey.

Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity of working in a variety of schools, and in every one, I have been committed to ensuring the highest standards for all our pupils, within an environment which promotes kindness and friendship.

Before and After School Club Provision

Wrap Around Care
Selby Abbey CE Primary school out of school club has been established since 2006. We provide places for children aged from 2 years to 11 years.

Breakfast Club - part of our Extended School initiative. The Club is open from 7:30am to 8.45am each school day.

After School Club In September 2006 we opened an After School Club, open to all our children. It operates from 3.15pm until 6.00pm every school day in the main school building.
