Welcome to the E-Safety Page

E-Safety Overview

The internet is a great resource with many very helpful tools that aid our children with their learning. Our school prepares its pupils for the 21st Century by providing good opportunities for online learning and research. It is essential, however, that we ensure that our children are safe at all times when using the world wide web. Below is a link to an important website that you may wish to look at. On it is a menu of pages that will help you understand how we keep a child safe on the internet.

Child Line Online safety event

Thank you to those parents who came to our Child Line Online safety event for parents on Friday. The key messages were:

– Explore the online world with your chidlren
– Talk about what they do online – early and often
– Set and agree boundaries
– Be Share Aware
– Be a good role model in terms of online behaviour

Please read these excellent leaflets which will tell you more . . .
